1. Current Membership: paid in full

2. Current First Aid; Provide First Aid HLTAID003/HLTAID011 (also known as Level 2 or Senior First Aid)

3. Current Professional Indemnity & Public Liability Insurance; Mandatory for all practitioner members except for Registered Kinesiology Practitioner, Level 1, where it is recommended only.  

4. Continuing Professional Education (CPE) points: All practitioner members must submit a completed official AKA CPE Record Form at the time of annual membership renewal; a minimum of 20 CPE points completed per membership year.  20 CPE Points due on the 1st July of the membership year. 
If you complete 40 or more points in one year, only a maximum of 20 CPE points may be carried forward to the next year. i.e. this will be counted as 2 years worth of CPE.  Only submit CPE activity completed from the previous membership year (example if CPE due 1st July 2018, then you are required to submit CPE carried out from 1st July 2017-30th June 2018).

AKA reserves the right to perform random CPE audits of practitioner members to validate that CPE records submitted are true and correct. Penalties apply for non-compliance. Any document listed on the CPE form may be requested. 

***It is your responsibility as a Registered AKA Practitioner to ensure that AKA  essential requirements are met and all your documents are up to date. To determine that the AKA has current copies of your documents on file please login to your member profile using your email address and password and check the expiry dates for each.    Failure to meet the essential requirements for Practitioner  registration may result in your membership and all benefits suspended and/or archived.
