If your CPD form is not complete, you will be unable to renew your membership. Essential practitioner requirements, such as CPD, was introduced to ensure that once practitioners completed their training, that they maintained their competency. The AKA essential practitioner requirements are imposed as a measure to safeguard the public, the practitioner and the kinesiology profession.

Requirements

  • To fulfil AKA practitioner member requirements, 20 credit points must be accumulated each membership year.
  • If you complete 40 or more points in one year, only a maximum of 20 CPD points may be carried forward. This will be counted as 2 years worth of CPD.
  • 20 CPD points for the previous membership year are due on the 1st day of the new membership year. For example, if CPD is due 30th June 2022, then you are required to submit CPD carried out between 1st July 2021 and 30th June 2022.
