A little bit about me….

Frustrated with counselling, I fell in love with the transformative qualities of Kinesiology (via Brain Gym®) in 1993, immediately starting to train and officially launching my kinesiology practice in 1996. I spent the next few years expanding my Educational Kinesiology knowledge in areas such as reflexes and sensory development and became a Visioncircles and Optimal Brain Organisation Instructor. I was quite heavily involved with working with children at risk as well as many types of developmental delay and learning challenges.

My clients also included adults and my discovery of Transformational Kinesiology in 1997 added a way to help my clients connect and listen to the deepest part of themselves. I trained extensively with Grethe Fremming and Rolf Havsobel, completing levels foundation to 7 as well as additional training over the next 8 years.

As I wanted to round out my clinical practice, I completed a degree in Social Science / Human Services, graduating in 2006, majoring in mood disorders and disability. I walked my talk and used Brain Gym® to get me through my studies – graduating with distinction.

And then, always looking for the missing link, I did a certification in Marketing Coaching in 2008 to help me, my clients and my colleagues to build more effective businesses. My marketing mentoring program for practitioners grew from this and I love that I help my students create thriving practices helping others.

My non-kinesiology training has included everything from Leadership to Process Oriented Psychology, Yoga to Neurobiology. Kinesiology definitely transformed me from a reluctant learner to a life-long learner – I love exploring new ideas. Through kinesiology I have become so much more than I ever thought possible, and yet totally myself.

Kinesiology is the simplest way to dig deeply into who we may become  – and then become it. I love it!
